There’s nothing better on earth than a few days stolen away in the city of lights. And there is too much to list here, really, but here are a few Paris travel tips to get you started:
1. Stay – the Marais is the corner with a mix of shops, eats, and sleeps in a setting of decadent cool. Stay in a great 16th Century apartment with exposed beams and views over the rooftops
2. Eat – Creperie Suzette in the Marais is a no-brainer for a classic galette and next door at Chez Camille does excellent snails if that’s your thing. L’Enoteca is also the best place for a midnight snack with their parmesan souffle and great wines.
3. Do – Take a bike and work off your grazings by going along the Seine and wind up through the Place des Vosages (where hopefully you can catch some local music) to Sacre Coeur. Also underrated is a cruise trip down the Seine in the evening where you get a new view of Notre Dame and the river front.
